Unlawful mining is reaching crisis proportions and poses a threat to national security, government authority and the socio-economic development of South Africa. South Africa is a country devastated by poverty and unemployment. An increasing number of immigrants from neighboring countries stream through our country’s borders also wanting a share of wealth.
