Specialised Security Services warns Toyota owners of a crime wave focused specifically on Toyota SUVs, bakkies, Land Cruiser SUVs and bakkies. According to the latest information received, syndicates have massive orders out for the procurement, hijacking, and theft of Land Cruiser LDV (bakkies), Toyota Hilux, Prado, Land Cruiser and Fortuner vehicles.
These vehicles are earmarked for cross border illegal trade, specifically to and in Mozambique. Expect hijacking and theft from public areas, such as parking lots, open roads, and residential homes to increase dramatically.
