EXAMPLE CASE: • • • • Our client requested an investigation into the financial status and viability of one of their employees. They had an agreement with the employee that she would buy their residence for R2,800,000.00. The employee moved into the home during December 2020 and agreed to pay R3,000,000.00, including occupational rent, alarm services, municipal rates and taxes, electricity, and water usage during her stay. According to the employee, she could afford the purchase since s he was the sole heir of her father’s estate of R95 million.
