NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
Date: 12 July 2025
Location: Church Street, Bothaville
Summary:
NCA Responders were contacted by local security firm Alarm Pro, who confirmed that suspects had cut and stolen copper cable at a corner in Church Street.
The Response team were activated and began patrolling the area. One responder was positioned near the Shell Petrol Station, known as a common suspect exit route. CCTV footage confirmed the presence of four suspects.
A search of the nearby field yielded no arrests. However, by tracking the suspected entry route, responders managed to recover a portion of the stolen copper cable.
An electrician from Nkangala was contacted, and the recovered cable was handed over to the Municipality. The incident was reported to SAPS (Case Ref: VB844).
Responders then stood down from the scene.
