Responders received a distress call regarding a shooting incident on Morkel Street in Danville.
19:40: Upon arriving at the scene, responders found a white Opel Corsa pickup truck parked in the driveway of a residence. A bullet hole was observed on the right side of the vehicle, adjacent to the driver’s door, penetrating through the metal and into the vehicle’s interior. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed.
The Namola reference number 1139609 was used to notify SAPS Pretoria West. 19:57: Officers from PW16 arrived at the scene. 20:30: Forensic teams were on-site. 20:36: The suspect was identified, and video footage was released, leading to the suspect’s arrest. 20:40: Response team members withdrew from the scene.
