Reaction members received an urgent call for assistance in Vergeet-my-nie Street, Elandspoort.
On arrival, members found a white VW Tiguan parked across a driveway, badly damaged. Two females were wounded – the driver and front passenger. Passengers in the back, including an eight-month-old baby, escaped injury. The driver-side window was shattered, and two bullet holes were visible.
The driver lost complete control of the vehicle after being shot and collided with a brick wall. Bystanders contacted ambulance services.
Per Namola Reference: 2969209, SAPS were dispatched.

19:01 – Fun Care Medical Services arrived on scene to attend to patients.

19:15 – GPG units A1279 and A1281, along with a GPG Response vehicle, arrived on scene.

19:25 – Fun Care transported the off-duty SAPS member (P1) to Meulmed Hospital.

19:29 – SAPD PW12 arrived on scene.

19:52 – GPG transported patient P1 to Kalafong Hospital.

20:46 – SAPS Forensics arrived on scene.

21:54 – Forensics and detectives departed the scene.

21:55 – Reaction members left the scene.
