NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
DATE: 07/09/2025
Responders received information regarding shots fired in the Bothaville area. The NCA Response Team was activated and began patrolling the relevant area.
During the patrol, responders discovered an abandoned vehicle with the key still in the driver’s door. Patrols continued, and responders were approached by two minors who provided information about two possible suspects, reportedly armed and allegedly linked to several criminal activities in the area.
Responders proceeded to a nearby building where the suspects were reportedly last seen, to verify whether they had spent the night there. SAPS was notified and arrived shortly thereafter. The building was cleared by SAPS; however, no suspects were located.
Although no arrests were made, responders gathered valuable intelligence which will be shared with SAPS for further investigation.
OUTCOME:
No suspects located. Valuable information obtained for SAPS follow-up. Scene cleared. Responders stood down.
