Response members were informed of a bicycle stolen from Spar Danville. Members proceeded to Jackson Street, where residents pointed out the suspect. While escorting the suspect back to the scene, he led members to the room where the bicycle had been hidden. Both the suspect and the recovered bicycle were returned to Spar Danville, where the complainant was waiting. SAPS were dispatched to the scene. The suspect was handcuffed, and a docket was opened. With permission from the attending police officer, the bicycle was returned to the owner. Services present on scene included NCA Reaction Team, CMS Crime Prevention, and SAPS PW47. All services subsequently departed the scene.
