A responder received a call regarding possibly stolen copper that had been taken from the industrial area about two weeks ago, where electrical boxes were looted. The lengths and thicknesses matched the description of the copper that responders were asked to look out for. The responder contacted SAPS, and two arrests were made. The responder then contacted the municipality’s electricians, and both the copper and the suspects were taken to SAPS.
