A call for backup was received regarding a suspect attempting to steal a gate motor on Rossouw Street, Vanderbijlpark. Although the suspect initially fled the scene, he was apprehended and detained shortly afterward. The South African Police Service (SAPS) was notified.
During a search conducted by security officers, several items were recovered, including chaka sticks, a sharp knife, and a creepy crawly.
The suspect has been handed over to SAPS, and responders have since withdrawn from the scene.
NCA would like to extend its gratitude to all participants for their efforts.
