As one of our National Crime Assist reaction member was busy with a client he noted there was something serious wrong at the security control room. He went there to investigate. The suspect keys were removed from the vehicle and went to the camara system to do further investigation as per footage the suspect was followed to what he was doing and our reaction team went to that specific location and found the two stolen laptops which the suspect attempted to steal.
The NCA reaction contacted NCA’S control to dispatch a police vehicle via Namola. Our reaction member then placed the suspect under citizens arrest. They waited until SAPS arrived and handed over to Midrand SAPS.
