NCA SUCCESS REPORT
GP RESPONSE TEAM

NCA received a request for assistance from SAPS regarding a possible truck hijacking in Coin Street, Lusthof. The truck reportedly sped off from a premises and entered the 90° bend at high speed. SAPS and sector members pursued five suspects who had exited the truck and attempted to flee on foot.
All five suspects were successfully apprehended. Subsequent investigation revealed that the vehicle had not been stolen. All individuals involved were found to be under the influence of alcohol. SAPS arrested the driver for driving under the influence.
OUTCOME:
All suspects apprehended. No hijacking confirmed. Scene cleared. Responders stood down.
