At around 21:22 responders received that patrolers caught 2 suspects that stole solar lights out of a premises at Millen street during the day and that the suspect could be seen on CCTV footage taking the lights.
The owner of the said premises did open a case for theft and is awaiting a case no but do have a reference no. The 2 suspects were seen in a field close by the premises and were apprehended by the patrollers and were searched only to find 2 solar lights in one of the bags,The owner of the above mentioned address confirmed that the lights belongs to her.
The 2 suspects were detained and saps were Contacted. Soon after SAPS arrived and the suspects were handed over to them with no injuries
The 2 suspects were handed to SAPS and statements were taken. Responders left the scene
