A responder drove pass Oom Paul SchooI, afternoon of 12/02/2025, observing a suspicious male sitting on the pavement taking PICTURES or video of the learners. He reported it in the Response Group and Responders activate.
The suspect was found at the said location, his response was he is waiting for someone to pick him up but evidence was found that he indeed did take pictures and videos of the learners, footage was deleted from his phone. Suspect left the area.
Incident was reported to the School and Responders patrolled area the next day from early morning before school until all the students were inside. Also yesterday afternoon after school 14h30, no suspects. Responder talk to the principal and gave them a cell number to contact if something happened.
The school spoke to the children and warned about the persons taking pictures and videos. School also put extra measures in place for mornings and afternoons. All suspicious findings was followed up. Situation monitored. No further incidents reported.
