At 16:25, responders received an emergency call regarding an abandoned vehicle on Makotter Street in Danville.
16:29: Upon arrival, response team members discovered a silver Nissan Almera with all doors locked and the hood open. After conducting a vehicle registration check, it was confirmed that the vehicle had not been reported stolen. It was identified as a rental vehicle, and the appropriate rental agency was contacted for further assistance.
17:33: Fidelity Tracker members arrived at the scene. The driver, who approached on foot, reported that he had been robbed of R6000, his mobile phone, and his vehicle. He stated that he had been held at an unknown residence for approximately 5 to 6 hours. The Tracker member took responsibility for documenting the stolen items and coordinating with the rental company.
18:38: All services were withdrawn from the scene.
