Response members received information regarding shots fired and a helicopter in the area. Members responded and followed the pursuit, which concluded in Maxim Street, Elandspoort. Two male suspects were apprehended, while a third fled the scene. The arrested suspects are known residents of Elandspoort, Pretoria West. The vehicle used in the incident—a white Opel Kadett—was confirmed to have been stolen in the Lyttelton area.
Services Involved:
Tracking Helicopter, Monitor Net Tracking, Proshield Tactical Unit, ADT Armed Response, NCA Reaction Team, SAPS Tactical Unit, and SAPS Detectives.
The suspects were handcuffed and transported to SAPS Lyttelton. A Theft and Fraud case docket was opened. The scene was declared clear, and all services departed.
