The responder received a call from BG Scrap regarding a young male who attempted to sell a piece of aluminium cable. Upon inspection, BG Scrap immediately established that the cable had been freshly burnt and that it was not standard domestic electrical cable. The responder contacted SAPS, after which instructions were received that the suspect must be transported to SAPS for further investigation. The cable was booked in under SAPS 13.
