Responders received a WhatsApp message from a landlord who reported no contact with a tenant for six days and requested a welfare check.
Upon arrival at the property, responders discovered a deceased person inside the house. The information was confirmed, and both ambulance services and SAPS were notified.
SAPS Forensics arrived on the scene and confirmed that the individual had been deceased for approximately six days. All relevant authorities and next of kin were contacted. The body was transported to the mortuary, and responders cleared the scene.
