A responder received a call about a vehicle that had caught fire in front of one of the local shops in the industrial area. When the responder arrived on scene, the fire had already been extinguished, and the driver was sitting inside the vehicle. The responder asked the driver if he needed any assistance, to which he replied no, someone was already on the way.
Responders confirmed the identity of the driver. . They made contact with his family, who informed them that they are concerned about him.
Responders went to SAPS to find out what could be done regarding the situation. During this time, someone else assisted the driver, and the vehicle was towed away. Responders confirmed that the person was safe.
