NCA Reaksie member was informed that a veld is on fire at the corner of Judd Street and Swart Avenue by the church.
We struggled to get the fire brigade for assistance to put out the fire. In the meanwhile we improvise – putting the fire out by using garden hose and buckets.
After almost an hour Johannesburg Emergency stopped and assisted us by putting it out.
