NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
12/01/2026
Responders, together with members of the Bothaville community, conducted a White Light Patrol in the area. Residents were approached and encouraged to participate by conducting patrols from the stoops of their homes. All reaction teams were fully activated, and members of SAPS accompanied the responders throughout the operation. Responders were divided into teams and deployed to designated patrol points. Responders, together with Alarm Pro Security, attended to a report of a male walking in the streets. The matter was successfully resolved without further incident. Responders also responded to reports of alleged gunshots fired in the industrial area. A thorough search was conducted; however, no evidence or confirmation of gunfire could be established. All parties in the area were confirmed to be safe. Assistance was provided to SAPS regarding an incident involving a male found inside a residential yard. Later in the evening, responders received a report of an armed robbery at a truck stop along the R30. Patrols were immediately conducted in the surrounding area. Two suspects fled the scene after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. One suspect was reportedly armed with a panga and the other with a knobkierie. Responders stood down from patrol late in the evening.
NCA extends its appreciation to all role players for their prompt response and cooperation.
